Overview[]
The Tutorial is a gamemode in Rogue Ascent which begins automatically if the player has not completed the tutorial already. It is intended to teach new players how to play using a variety of guided tasks. The tutorial cannot be skipped until after its completion. The tutorial can always be replayed via the main menu.
Tutorial Part 1 (Gesture Overview)[]
Part 1 of the tutorial demonstrates each of the gestures with example animations. Once the player has completed the gesture overview they may proceed to part 2 of the tutorial where they will put them to use.
Part 2 (Hands-on Practice)[]
Part 2 of the tutorial prompts the usage of each gesture in different scenarios. The player is tasked with moving to various nodes where they are guided through interactions with various game mechanics.
